If you have been following my blog for a while now, you will know I have a thing for stationary. I am forever on the lookout for pretty new notebooks to add to my collection and cannot resist looking in all the stationary shops when I’m in town. So when the stationary company Creoly contacted me, inviting me to join their Early Bird Reviewers Club I was like, yes please! Count me in!
A short while later, I received an e-mail from the Creoly team to tell me that a new product had arrived: The A5 Dot Grid Notebook by Th[ink].
I asked whether I could customize the book to my own style to which they replied – of course, it’s your notebook! So It didn’t take me long to work out what I wanted to do. I had my eye on some stickers from Dot Creates for a while but wasn’t sure what I would use them for. Now I had the perfect plan.
The notebook and stickers actually arrived on the same day. What about that for great timing!
Danielle, the lady at Dot Creates wrote me a little message on the back of the card which I thought was a lovely touch. She also sent an e-mail to say how much she appreciates my order as she works full time and runs her shop by herself in any free time she can find. Wow. I’m impressed. Danielle obviously works hard as the stickers are gorgeous! Dot Creates is a quirky stationary and gift shop which has everything from inspirational prints in beautiful writing, to planners, notebooks and stickers. You can find the shop here.
I was super happy when I added the stickers to the notebook. This was going to be a book of blogging ideas and plans so the stickers were the perfect added touch. Thank you to both Creoly and Dot Creates for enabling me to create this notebook – I absolutely adore it! I love it when a plan comes together.
Now to actually use the notebook! I had a couple of ideas, but as Blogmas is fast approaching, it seemed right to make a plan to keep on top of all my December ideas. I love how the notebook has a dot grid, it makes it so easy to draw and create tables. To be precise this is a light grey dot grid with 5mm spacing accoring to Creoly. And I have to say the paper is top quality too, it’s nice and thick so the ink doesn’t show through. If anyone knows anything about paper – this is 100 pages (50 sheets) of high quality 120gsm paper, which I assume is a good thing in the world of notebooks.
Th[ink] notebooks are made for designers, by designers. To read more details about the product: click here.
I used Pinterest for inspiration and my Pa Rom Pa Pom Pom Bauble Puffy Stickers from Hobby Craft. I was wondering when I was going to use the Pa Rom Pa Pom Pom Bauble Puffy Christmas Stickers.
Is it just me, or does anyone else find colouring in so therapeutic?
Ta-da! Here is the final result of my Blogmas 2017 planner. Even looking at that I feel slightly more organised than before.
The final stage was to actually add some ideas. I plan to add more as the month goes on but I am happy with what I have got so far. If you are thinking about doing Blogmas but are struggling with ideas here are a few to start with. You are welcome to use them if you like!
