Back in February this year, I was lucky enough to review the Stampin’ Up! Lot’s Of Happy card making kit. So when I heard Stampin’ Up! were looking for bloggers to review another kit, I was super excited and jumped at the chance. A short while later, I was the very happy owner of the Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Kindness card making kit.
Stampin’ Up! have been around since 1988 with products allowing to you express your own creativity through handmade cards, papercrafting projects, memory keeping, and home décor. I love that these card making kits are straightforward and easy to use. They give everyone the opportunity to add their own homemade, personalized touch to greetings cards even if arts & crafts is not your thing.
The card making kit comes in this really cute box and everything you need is included (just add glue).
The all-inclusive kit includes: A set of 6 photopolymer stamps, clear stamp block, 20 printed card bases and coordinating printed envelopes, giftable kraft box, die-cut stickers and accents, Archival Basic Black Ink Stampin’ Spot, Baker’s Twine, Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhesive-backed pearls.
There is a handy little guide to give you ideas and inspiration on what works best. I decided to follow the guide and create the 4 suggested cards before I got experimental with my own designs.
There are 4 different cards designs all in a green/leafy theme. The cool thing is the cards work both vertically and horizontally so your potential creations are limitless!
The idea of the kit is that you add one layer at a time and it’s easy, especially as these are self-adhesive.
The kit includes Baker’s Twine (or golden string) and can be used for adding on bows and other decorative stringy bits. By the end of this, I became an expert at bow-making.
The stamping process is straightforward. The kit includes a clear stamping block, ink and of course, the stamps (2x thank yous, 1x you’re so kind and 3 decorative patterns).
Top tip: If there are lighter areas on your stamp, simply go over them with a black pen so it is all even.
You can make the cards as simple or as creative as you like! There are 3 pretty cardboard flower designs which you can stick anywhere on your card. These simply pop out and can be stuck down easily with glue.
I like the fact it’s not just stamps in the kit, there is also the option to use fancy thank you stickers. Plus you don’t just have to say it in English either, there are French and German thank yous included too!
These stick-on pearls will add a little bit of glamour and sparkle to any card.
There is always something extra special about handmade thank you cards.
I really love the ‘you’re so kind’ stamp as it’s a nice alternative to the traditional thank yous.
I think this one is my favourite as I absolutely love the stamp.
The four suggested designs in the Notes Of Kindness Card Making Kit.
I decided to go French and get creative with this one. I’m loving the bows and the pearls.
I think everything works so well together in this kit, it’s hard to go wrong.
In total, I made six different cards with the potential to make twenty. I love that you can re-create the same designs all over again or mix & match and get super creative.
There are also matching envelopes included in the kit so you can get sending those cards right away!
This is a super sweet card making kit and I’m loving the finished products. Thank you to Stampin’ Up for letting me get creative with the kit, it was lots of fun and I’m really impressed with my ready-to-send thank you cards. This is such a good idea, and your cards are absolutely gorgeous!! I think it’s awesome that you can tell their homemade, but they look professional at the same time. I love the “you’re so kind” one. 😀 xx
Thank you so much Ruth! 💖 That’s so nice of you to say. The “you’re so kind” is a favourite of mine too, it’s a sweet alternative to the normal “thank yous”. Glad you enjoyed the post lovely 💕☺️ xx
This is so sweet! I wish I had an occasion coming up now that I needed to send thank you cards for 😂 I think these would be such a great way to thanking people for birthday presents, or wedding gifts provided it was just a small, intimate wedding. Hand making things adds such a personal touch, I think it is way better than buying the same generic cards from the shops! Lovely post, Bexa, and I love your creations!

These are gorgeous! I feel like you can’t go wrong with a handmade card (but at the same time these are so beautiful they don’t seem handmade at all). I especially love the little succulent images. I used succulents for my wedding last year so they’ll always have a soft spot in my heart. Thanks for sharing Bex!
Thank you so much Asti! 💖 That’s so kind of you to say. I really love the personalised touch and it’s so nice you used succulents at your wedding, I bet they looked beautiful ☺️💕 xx
