Enamel pins, badges, stationery, postcards, self-care treats and supporting independent businesses are a few of my favourite things. So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered Cheer Up Treats – a new mystery box full of fun, colourful and positive treats to make your day (or somebody else’s) by providing you with the cutest items from small brands. A wonderful idea created by my lovely blogging friend, Vicki.
Vicki has a love of supporting small business and making people happy so Cheer Up Treats combines the two. The kind of things you might expect to see in your box are notepads & stationary, badges, motivational postcards, make up products, wax melts, candles, stickers, mirrors, coasters, bookmarks and sweets. Each box is unique and will contain various items to make you smile. I knew I needed one of these in my life so placed my order and eagerly awaited to see which surprises were included in my box…

Before I even opened my treats the packaging made me smile. Everything is wrapped so beautifully in bright and colourful paper. I received nine mystery items and a cute Shine Bright postcard by Nicoley Designs.
The first treat I unwrapped was this beautiful bath bomb from Bomb Cosmetics. This is the One In A Melon Bath Blaster, a handmade bath time treat which contains pure May Chang and Marjoram essential oils. The cool thing about Bomb Cosmetics is that they are 100% committed to making everything handmade & natural. They are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free, even the glitter is a bio-degradable sparkle! This is such a fab brand, it smells delightful and is the perfect self-care treat for those relaxing evenings.
I am the proud owner of 45 enamel pins so getting a brand new pin always makes my day. This fun and colourful Roller Skate Roll With It pin is by Colour Your Life Club, the home of all things bright, cheerful and positive! I’m loving the cute 80’s, 90’s style design and it goes perfectly with my 80’s Mixtape pin from my Scrapbook Music Memory Jar post. Check out Colour Your Life Club on Twitter / Instagram.
The next treat is a specially made by Cheer Up Treats and it looks amazing! This is the Unicorn Sugar Scrub and contains refined shea butter, apricot oil, lavender essential oil, white sugar and cosmetic mineral micas. I’m really impressed that Vicki made this herself, it looks like something you would buy from a shop. I’m loving the pastel unicorn colours and it’s another perfect item for a relaxing pamper evening.
You can never go wrong with a Yankee Candle, right? This month I have been so lucky and have received 3 Yankee Candles (two gorgeous ones from the lovely Lisa) and now the festive Sparkling Cinnamon. Candles always make a home so warm, cosy and calming, which is exactly what we need at this hectic time of year.
One of my favourite small businesses is Pastel Elixir and Ellis’ awesome goodies appear on my blog often, most recently in this enamel pins post. I was so happy to discover I had another adorable Pastel Elixir item to add to my collection in the form of this cute koala badge. How adorable is this happy little dude!
Stationery is cool, but when it is cactus shaped you have reached a new level of coolness. This cactus sticky memo pad is by Three Little Buhos, a cute Etsy shop which sells everything from washi tape, pens, stickers and planner charms – a stationery lovers dream! Follow Three Little Buhos on Instagram.
Yay for sweets and hot choc!
Vicki even included an adorable Christmas Card with a sweet message and a list of everything that was in my box and where it was from. I thought this was such a lovely touch (and made writing this post so much easier, he he!). So a big thank you to Cheer Up Treats for this awesome box of goodies, it really made me smile. You can tell so much time and thought has gone into selecting the most perfect happy treats!
