In a world where everything is either cancelled or postponed, I am pleased to see that National Stationery Week is go go go. Monday 20th – Sunday 26th April 2020 is seven days of celebrating all things stationery – what an absolutely wonderful week! As today is #StationeryShopSaturday this has inspired the most perfect collab with fellow stationery lover and awesome blogger, the lovely Lauren from Bournemouth Girl.
If you haven’t seen Lauren’s blog before, I encourage you to check it out! It is a stationery lovers dream with fantastic posts on blogging, bullet journalling, creativity, self-care and supporting small businesses! And for all your cute stationery and pretty planner needs, why not check out Lauren on Instagram and Twitter!
Lauren and I previously swapped Stationery Boxes in 2018, so it was definitely time we arranged another collaboration. For our stationery box swap, we agreed to a budget of £20 and had fun selecting goodies we knew each other would enjoy. Make sure you head over to Lauren’s blog to see what’s in her box too!
I was so excited when my box arrived, Lauren chose this gorgeous ‘You Can Do This’ motivational design in bright pink with pretty flowers – this is exactly my kinda thing! This is going to come in super handy for storing my washi tape collection, it’s forever expanding and in need of a bigger home! So perfect! <3
The first item which caught my attention was this bundle of pretty notebooks. There is a set of 3 with tropical/leafy patterns neatly tied with a cute bow. A brand new notebook is always a very welcome addition to any respectable stationery collection, so I’m extremely happy to receive three gorgeous designs!
I absolutely love anything bright, colourful and rainbow-y, Lauren knows me so well! These rainbow sticky notes are perfect for mini-to-do lists, jotting down reminders, brightening up planners and journals or even scrapbooking! They are such a cute way to stay organised and you can never have too many rainbows!
I’m so glad Lauren included this handy and stylish To-Do List Pad as they are awesome for staying organised and motivated! There is always (always!) something to be doing when you are a blogger and keeping a list of all the tasks is good for productivity. And ticking completed things off is soo satisfying, don’t ya think?!
How adorable is this sweet little ‘Be Kind To Yourself’ book – another gorgeous addition to my notebook collection! I’m thinking this would be ideal for a journal or a gratitude diary to make note of all the positive and joyful things in our lives right now. I also love that it’s cute and mini, so perfect size for our handbags!
Lauren thought of everything and included this set of bright and vibrant fineliner pens! There is such a nice range of bold and beautiful colours which will really liven up my notebooks and planners! As they are fineliners, they are brilliant for doodling & lettering – my bullet journal better get ready for ALL the colours!
Yaaaay, washi!! I was so happy when I discovered not one, but SIX cute and colourful tapes! Washi tape is amazing for adding splashes of colour to journals, notebooks, scrapbooks, creative projects and so much more. I also love that everything in this box follows the same colour and pattern theme – it’s gorgeous!
Included in the box, Lauren gave me this set of 3 inspirational & motivational pens – I absolutely love matching stationery and these go perfectly with my brand new pretty notebooks and handy list pad. I can’t wait to get started making notes in my books and I am sure the ideas will be flowing with these cute pens!
This stylish letter writing set could not have come at a better time! As we are all social distancing, many of us are away from our favourite people, so writing a letter to a loved-one is such a kind & thoughtful gesture. This kit is complete with beautiful paper, note cards and envelopes and will come in very handy!
I hope you enjoyed seeing all the fabulous goodies I received in this Stationery Box Swap and a huge thank you to Lauren for everything – it’s perfect! This was such a fun collab and can’t wait to see what Lauren thought of her treats too… head over to Bournemouth Girl to see what stationery I included!
Which item is your favourite? Let me know in the comments – I’d love to hear from you! <3
