10 Ideas For Your Bullet Journal

Ahhh! This week has been crazy busy for me and I have barely had time for social media, let alone updating my blog. I am currently doing a group project at uni which involves numerous team meetings and presentations that have been taking up a lot my energy *head exploding emoji*. Despite the busyness, I have enjoyed keeping my new bullet journal up to date and have found it a useful way to stay organised. I thought this week I would share with you a few ideas if you are looking for bullet journal inspiration.

The cool thing about bullet journalling is that you can start simple and add different ideas and lists as the weeks go on. Each new week is a chance to explore your creativity. All you need is a blank notebook and you can begin. I am using the awesome personalized notebook I received from Tangible Stationery Co.

 To Do List

This is a handy way to ensure you do not forget anything important each week. Sometimes we do not know exactly when we will be able to complete a task so this list can give you the freedom to decide if you have time to fit it in on the day.

Weekly goals

These can be anything from blogging goals, fitness goals, spending goals, study/work goals, social media goals, anything and everything you want to aim towards.

Exercise Tracker

An exercise tracker is so motivational and colouring in a square is very rewarding after the workout is complete. This week I am tracking yoga, swimming, gym and walking. Each week you have the flexibility to add or remove different activities.

Healthy Habits

It always good to ensure you are getting enough exercise, but other habits such as sleep, drinking water and relaxation time are important to monitor too.

Meal Planner

Using a bullet journal to plan ahead and decide what you are eating everyday is a great way to ensure you are following a balanced diet. It’s also an idea to track alcohol intake if you want to cut down.

Blog and social media stats

Keeping a log of blogging and social media stats is a cool way to see how you are doing online. You could also include the amount of time you spend on social media and the frequency in which you post if that is something you want to analyse.

Books, films and TV

Listing books, films and TV shows is a fantastic reminder to schedule in daily relaxation time and make sure you don’t miss your favourite episodes!

Birthdays and anniversaries

Jotting down all the important dates is a great way to make sure you do not forget anything and means you can plan ahead when it comes to buying cards and gifts.

Gratitude list

Writing a daily gratitude list is thought to increase levels of positivity and improve well-being. It can also help you to notice and appreciate all the good things in life.

Favourite moments

This is the perfect way to remember the best bits of the week and nice to reminisce on at a later date.

Do you have a bullet journal or have you written a post on bullet journaling? If so, please share your links in the comments – I’d love to see other ideas!
